Key Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring quality care, advocating for pets, and educating clients.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, adhering to state Veterinary Practice Act guidelines.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options.
  • Maintain comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients.
  • Use safe restraining techniques and follow standard protocols to maintain clean, sterile treatment areas.
Requirements:
  • Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required.
  • Registered Veterinary Technician certification.
  • Proficient in IV catheters placement, blood work, and injections.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
