Salary Information

The estimated hourly compensation for this role is $28-$33 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay.

About the Role

This Diesel Fleet Mechanic position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanics or reefer mechanics, or a combination of both.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance within company standards.
  • Document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of verifiable hands-on experience in heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanics or reefer mechanics, or a combination of both.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
  • Independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in administering an appropriate PM program.
