$118,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston. As a fully qualified staff psychologist, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to Veterans with mental illness, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to Veterans with mental health issues
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A doctoral degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Licensure as a psychologist in the state of Texas
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a mental health setting
