Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist at Penn State Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
• Focus on health promotion and disease prevention, providing individualized care to patients in the community.
• Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays, and prescribe medications as needed.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
