Job Summary:

We are seeking a Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work directly with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities, assisting them in realizing their full potential and becoming integrated and engaged in their community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a shared relationship with the individuals served, supporting their unique personal desires and needs.
  • Provide assistance with decision-making, problem-solving, and encouragement to become a self-advocate.
  • Assist individuals in sharing their personal strengths and worth, making friends within their natural community settings.

Requirements: A valid NYS Driver's license, ability to be certified in required trainings, and exceptional written, communication, and basic computer skills.
