Agronomy Educator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Extension Educator to join our team at Penn State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs in agronomy, nutrient management, agribusiness management, and precision agriculture.

• Develop and lead educational events to support learning objectives in agronomy, nutrient management, and precision agriculture.
• Develop original content to engage audiences through innovative educational methods such as online courses, videos, webinars, and electronic publications.
• Provide technical support to agricultural producers on agronomic practices and sustainable production methods.
• Collaborate with agricultural governmental agencies and ag service providers to develop and implement programs.
• Work closely with university-based research faculty to develop and conduct applied research relevant to state-wide customer needs.

• Master's degree or higher in agronomy, plant science, nutrient management, agri-business, or related discipline.
• At least one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse populations and audiences.

• A competitive salary range of $51,000 to $89,600.
