Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at ABM Industries. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for completing assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor maintenance issues involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
  • Perform routine plumbing repairs, including unclogging toilets, sinks, and urinals, fixing water leaks, and replacing faucets and water fountains.
  • Conduct routine electrical repairs, such as changing light bulbs and fluorescent lamps, and assist in repairing ballast and light fixtures.
  • Change HVAC filters and complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of mechanical areas and other equipment, systems, or structures.
  • Work at various heights, including tasks that require extended periods of time at different elevations.
  • Regularly climb ladders of various sizes and types to access high areas.
  • Operate a range of lifts, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other mechanical devices, to reach high areas.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of various building maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
