Job Summary:

As a Strategic Finance Analyst at Clemson University, you will play a crucial role in driving business transformation across the institution. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, manage, and coordinate strategic financial planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with the University's goals and objectives. You will design, develop, manage, update, and improve financial reporting at the enterprise and unit-level, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement revenue-based budgeting models, ensuring alignment with University policies and procedures.
2. Design and build reporting packages that inform and provide insight into the financial health of the enterprise and its component units.
3. Develop and maintain models and analyses that integrate data, other models, and business processes to enable the University to understand and project critical business activities and their financial impacts.
4. Proactively develop, operationalize, monitor, and appropriately steward budgets, forecasts, and short and long-range financial plans.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, accounting).
2. 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Proficiency in financial software and systems, including budgeting and forecasting tools.

Clemson University offers a competitive salary range of $68,900.00 - $85,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
