Drywall Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Drywall Estimator to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our commercial construction projects.

• Accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for commercial drywall projects.
• Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids based on project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.
• Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates and bids.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, contracts, and other relevant documents.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall estimation.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Onscreen Takeoff/ QuickBid, Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
• Ability to analyze project requirements, interpret drawings and specifications, and accurately calculate material and labor costs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and bidding processes.
• Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
