Job Summary

The Drumline Club Director position is an on-site role that requires attending training at the Woodcraft Rangers main office and school sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and enriching activities for club participants.
  • Plan and execute program activities according to program goals and monthly themes.
  • Recruit and maintain program participants from the school community.
  • Ensure students are in a safe environment at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with youth, parents, and school staff.
  • Maintain and submit daily student attendance rosters.
  • Submit lesson plans for program activities in advance.
  • Develop and implement end-of-session performances or displays.
  • Participate in staff development training as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; prior experience working with groups of K-12 students preferred.
  • Ability to work well with young children and/or youth.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn.
  • Valid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR Certification.
  • Proof of vaccination for all employees providing in-person work with staff or clients.
  • Negative COVID-19 test result before the first date of employment.
