Job Title: Mold Setter

Crucial Link Group is seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our team in Stow, Ohio.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to set up and operate molds in our plastics production process. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate molds in the press, ensuring proper alignment and function.
  • Complete pre-production checklists to ensure the mold is properly set and ready for production.
  • Clean and maintain the press and mold area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and control the production process, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, following established procedures.
  • Document and record production data, including quality control metrics and production rates.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing or has a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Language ability includes reading and writing.
