Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Harnett Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to patients of all ages in an ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients suffering from injury or disease, providing appropriate preventive and health maintenance care.
  • Prescribe and administer treatment, including medications and medical devices, under the direction of a supervising physician.
  • Perform clinical procedures appropriate for a clinic setting, based on training and demonstrated competence.
  • Document patient history, findings, test results, diagnosis, plan of care, treatment, and outcome in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adhere to the supervisory arrangement established by the supervising physician.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, with a Master's Degree preferred, from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or its predecessor or successor agencies.
  • Current BLS certification for infants, children, and adults.
  • Two (2) years of advanced practice provider experience, providing care for patients of all ages.
  • Ability to effectively assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Interpersonal skills that facilitate a positive relationship with patients and other team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification (CNP).
  • NC BON educational requirements for Continuing Competence.
  • Current CPR verification unique to population served.
