Job Title: Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist

Comhar Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist to join our team in the Philadelphia area. As a Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist, you will provide behavioral intervention consultation services to the treatment team for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist will work collaboratively with the treatment team to design and implement behavioral modification intervention plans tailored to each child's or adolescent's needs. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to work effectively with families, schools, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct client assessments within 15 days of service initiation.
  2. Observe children in school, community, or home settings as part of the initial assessment.
  3. Develop and implement intervention plans, providing instruction to the treatment team on their roles and responsibilities.
  4. Collaborate with the interagency team to ensure school, home, and community plans complement each other.
  5. Provide consultation to the treatment team when problems arise in plan implementation.
  6. Participate in regular, documented monthly peer reviews with a licensed psychologist.
  7. Revise intervention plans as needed, using the same methods as the initial development.
  8. Adhere to all paperwork guidelines, including timelines, format, and content, as established by the unit.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults, with a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
  • Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
  • Individuals providing ABA services through behavior consultation must meet one of the following:
  1. A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
  2. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved.
