Job Overview

Magna International is seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will be based in Lowell, MA and will involve working with our Software Platform Team to maintain and build our infrastructure and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Develop tools and flows to automate and optimize software deployment and testing across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, especially in AWS.
  • Deploy and monitor applications in Production environment using Terraform, Kubernetes, monitoring and logging tools along with other technologies.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions and tools that meets business needs.
  • Ensure software quality and reliability by following best practices and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related studies.
  • Prior experience in leading DevOps efforts for a product.
  • 7 years of experience in Cloud DevOps Engineering, ideally in an AWS environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Github, Jenkins, Gitlab.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python.
  • Experience with Terraform and configuration management and deployment automation tools, such as Terraform, Ansible.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Registry.
  • Experience in production deployment: scaling, performance, monitoring, security and networking.
  • Experience working with monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a hybrid work arrangement and are committed to providing a competitive compensation package.
