Your Role DEPCOM Power, a division of Koch Engineered Solutions, is seeking a Quality Assurance Leader. This position requires extensive travel to various project locations, along with per diem and regular home visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise quality inspections across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure compliance with DEPCOM quality standards and contractual requirements for solar and energy projects.
- Familiarize yourself with project documentation, guidelines, and specifications.
- Conduct audits and ensure accurate completion and documentation.
- Ensure on-site quality personnel are well-informed of expectations and adequately trained for inspections and sampling.
- Collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions for quality challenges.
- Oversee subcontractor quality inspections and documentation as required by DEPCOM.
- Establish accountability for quality, providing clear expectations and timely feedback.
- Enhance decision-making through knowledge sharing and evaluation of options.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to foster transparency and resolve issues for mutual benefit.
- Represent DEPCOM in site kick-off meetings, addressing all quality-related matters.
- Create quality inspection checklists and test plans in accordance with project specifications and codes.
- Investigate non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with site leadership to establish best practices tailored to unique project needs.
- Proven experience in data collection and reporting.
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or relevant military experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with document and contract management.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
- Background in solar energy projects.
- Project Management experience.
- Ability to interpret contracts effectively.
The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 annually, with eligibility for variable pay in the form of bonuses or other incentives.
