Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a fast-paced medical setting. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices, to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures, participating in ongoing education and training.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related specialty.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
