Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and independence in daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their need for occupational therapy intervention and make referrals to other treatment team members as necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic interventions and education, to help patients develop the skills and strategies needed to perform daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Montana.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • At least one year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift, push, pull, and move patients and equipment as needed. The Occupational Therapist must also be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and have good manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
