Radiology Technologist Job Description

Sigma Healthcare Team is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to work onsite at a contracted location in Charlestown, MA.

Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiological examinations, setting up and adjusting related equipment, and maintaining related records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform standardized radiological examinations, including proper positioning of patients, techniques, and operation of equipment.
  • Report directly to the Team Leader of General Diagnostic Radiology or Lead Technical Specialist.
  • Work in a tertiary care center on both inpatient and outpatient radiology procedures.
Requirements
  • High school graduation and an AS degree in radiological technology.
  • Current BLS, ACLS CPR Certification.
  • Must hold and maintain ARRT certification.
  • Must hold and maintain a current valid state License in Radiology Technology (CRT).
  • Must have at least 1 year of Cath Lab Rad Tech experience.
Working Conditions

The Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. The position requires standby and after-hours/weekend/holiday callback, with a response time of less than 30 minutes.
