Key Responsibilities
  • Review and optimize our existing Oracle Coherence cache setup from producer and consumer perspectives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing a scalable, reliable, and high-performing solution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of messaging concepts and technologies, including Active MQ, RabbitMQ, and IBMMQ.
  • Design and implement Object-Oriented Design using Java or other languages, with a strong focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with our development team to integrate Coherence caching into our existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Coherence caching and related technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in Coherence caching, including messaging, Grid Gain, and Redis.
  • Experience with Java 1.8 and J2EE frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with SOAP Web services, Microservices/REST endpoints, and Service Discovery, Load Balancing, and Resiliency.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and open-source cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS and OpenShift.
  • Experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle, as well as DevOps tools like Jenkins Pipelines.
Desirable Skills
  • Enterprise Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Experience with TDD, Junit, and Mockito.
  • Experience with Code Scan tools like SonarQube, Veracode, and Prisma Scan.
  • Experience with API development and integration with 3rd party vendors.
Leadership and Communication Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members. Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills are essential for this role.
