Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in the Program Management Office (PMO) within the Bureau of Engineering Design & Construction (BEDC). The selected candidate will serve as a Business Analyst for the Bureau of Water & Sewer Operations (BWSO), managing data captured on project delivery to support Project Teams and all levels of Management.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in Business Analytics, strong organization, writing, communication skills, and a vision of goals. They should be able to gather requirements from project teams and management, build Dashboards and reports using SSRS and Power BI, and have strong SQL skills with experience working with large datasets.

Responsibilities:
-Address system users' support requests
-Interface with technology providers' personnel to address problems
-Support ongoing maintenance of reporting and data solutions
-Analyze business requirements into technical requirements for reporting/visualizations, data models, and databases
-Review technical specifications derived from technical requirements
-Participate in the design, performance, and code review process
-Oversee development and maintenance of the department's data repository and ensure successful data gathering and validating the accuracy of the data prior to publication of reports

Qualifications:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, including or supplemented by twenty-four (24) semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and two (2) years of satisfactory full-time software experience in designing, programming, debugging, maintaining, implementing, and enhancing computer software applications, systems programming, systems analysis and design, data communication software, or database design and programming.
