We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Precept new staff and students, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of hemodynamics and be able to troubleshoot imaging equipment in collaboration with biomedical engineers.
  • Participate in procedural charging, supply management, and emergency situations, demonstrating your ability to act quickly and effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, patients, families, and medical staff, providing excellent patient care and support.
  • Assist in procedures such as complex PCI, including CTO, and participate in structural heart cases, demonstrating your expertise and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Registered as ARRT with CI credential or RCIS or RCES.
  • Licensed AEMT or National Registered Paramedic (NRP) or graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology or academic program in health sciences.
  • Must become registered as an ARRT with post-primary category of cardiac interventional radiography or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES obtained within 12 months of hire or promotion.
