ED Registrar

The Emergency Department Registrar at Massachusetts General Hospital is responsible for initiating contact with patients to ensure a complete and accurate ED patient registration and billing process. This role involves performing full patient registration duties, including obtaining, verifying, and recording personal, demographic, financial, and visit-specific clinical information.

• Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced and hectic clinical environment
• Provide administrative support as needed to ED administrative, operations, and clinical staff
• Function in both the Main ED Check-in location and most treatment areas throughout the ED

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 1 year of related work experience in a healthcare/registration setting; knowledge of insurance or registration systems helpful

This is a full-time position working evening shifts at our MGH Main Campus in Boston, MA.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
