Automotive Lube Technician Job Description

At Continental Toyota, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Lube Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair automotive problems, using diagnostic tools and special Toyota service equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to ensure accurate estimates and timely repairs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest repair procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in automotive repair.
  • ASE certifications or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service department or recent graduate from an automotive training school.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 40 pounds.
