Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work to maintain and repair facilities
• Handle general building issues and ensure all equipment runs properly and efficiently
• Complete work orders involving the replacement of electrical components, repairing plumbing fixtures, and other related activities
• Inspect rooftops, walls, walkways, light fixtures, windows, drains, etc., for preventive maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot and perform various electrical work
• Locate the cause of general building and process system malfunctions
• Handle various plumbing tasks involving a variety of materials (copper, PVC, brass, and stainless materials)
• Evaluate refrigeration system performance and make necessary repairs
• Organize work assignments and small projects where more than one mechanic is needed
• Monitor Building management System (BMS) and Isensix System
• Maintain all records and logs
• Prepare various reports
• Handle other related functions as needed

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a related field
• Experience level: Experienced
