Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of equipment and supplies to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and service requests to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Assist in the testing, starting up, and commissioning of equipment and systems, and provide technical support as needed.
  • Represent the company as the primary customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with supervising field technicians and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, and synchronize work to ensure seamless execution.
  • Utilize cutting-edge software and technology, as well as a variety of hand tools, to diagnose and repair equipment and systems.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school a plus.
  • No experience in HVAC is necessary, but any relevant experience is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and working knowledge of handheld computers (e.g., smartphones, iPads) are essential.
  • A valid driver's license with a minimum of 12 months of driving experience is required.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle while wearing a seatbelt.
  • Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harnesses, and safety boots to perform job duties.
  • Must be able to twist the trunk of the body 90 degrees in each direction, squat, and reach overhead.
  • Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, up to 4 hours, and regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to safely use a ladder with a 375-pound total weight limit, while wearing equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to maneuver access areas, as small as 30 inches vertical x 45 inches horizontal, and comfortably access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15 to 20 feet, and occasionally up to 50+ feet.
