Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Collington. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment to the highest standards
  • Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, reporting any malfunctions to the Executive Chef
  • Distribute and store clean equipment, utensils, and supplies
  • Set up and maintain the dish and pot washing area
  • Empty trash, boxes, and soiled linen containers as required
  • Perform daily logs for temperature and chemical ppm to ensure dishes are clean and sanitized
  • Assist the storeroom clerk in storing food and non-food supplies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and supplies.
