We're seeking a skilled Telehealth Nurse for an immediate travel nurse opening in Vandalia, IL. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years' recent acute care experience and be proficient in monitoring and interpreting telemetry data.

As a Telehealth Nurse, you will provide care by connecting patients to machines that measure vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. You will then interpret the data to determine the best course of treatment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing basic bedside care
  • Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment used on patients
  • Identifying irregular telemetry readings and notifying medical team members
  • Initiating corrective action when necessary

Travel Nurse Across America requires our Telehealth Nurses to be able to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. They should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements include:

  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • 3 years of experience

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
