Responsibilities
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition education and counseling, to patients with various health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, taking into account patients' medical history, dietary needs, and lifestyle factors.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or a related field.
  • Current, active State of Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist license.
  • Current, active Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
