Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Administrator or Housekeeping Supervisor, the incumbent will:
  • Implement safe and effective cleaning protocols to ensure that all areas of the facility meet regulatory and infection control requirements.
  • Properly handle, prepare, and dispose of commercial cleaning agents and supplies, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize and care for all commercial cleaning machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's operating guidelines.
  • Engage positively with team members and residents, accommodating daily schedules whenever feasible.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by the Administrator or Housekeeping Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare cleanliness, sanitation, disinfection, and infection control standards is essential.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills in English.
Additional Information

Job Type: Variable (PRN)

Shift: Day Shift with Flexible Scheduling

Compensation Range*: $15.00/hr - $16.00/hr, Negotiable (based on experience)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.10 for each year, up to ten (10) years

*Note: The advertised wage range includes additional incentives such as shift differentials, weekend package incentives, and years of experience pay.
