**Job Summary**
RANK America is seeking a skilled CMM Operator to provide quality assurance and precision measurement services in our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plate layouts and be proficient in CMM programming and usage to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
- Inspect and record results to ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
- Familiarize yourself with Zeiss Program and machines to optimize measurement processes.
- Develop and maintain G&T proficiency to ensure efficient and accurate data collection.
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Prior CMM programming experience and Calypso programming experience are required.
- A UAW Journeyman card for CMM layout is required, or the ability to qualify for one immediately.
- At least 2+ years of machining experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent are required.
- Must be able to read orders and work instructions, and understand processes and process drawings.
- Must have mechanical skills and mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
- Must be able to lift up to and including 50 lbs. and bend and lift as required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of assembly experience and Material Handling experience are preferred.
