School Psychologist Job Description

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team in a full-time, contract position. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing referred students and making recommendations for appropriate school programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify strengths and areas of need, and develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student success.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and behavior.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student assessments, interventions, and progress, and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • License: State Psychology License.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, contract position with a 24/25 school year schedule. The caseload will include K-8th grade students, with a focus on supporting out-of-district students.
