As a Manager in our Tax Services division, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive reviews of federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts; also overseeing related income tax workpapers
- Leading teams of senior and junior accountants
- Managing the planning and scheduling of engagements
- Researching complex tax matters
- Ensuring the quality of deliverables
- Monitoring workflow
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Providing both formal and informal feedback
- Communicating progress to partners
- Developing business with existing and prospective clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with client personnel
- Collaborating closely with clients to provide guidance on income tax matters and related planning
To excel in this role, you will need the following skills, qualities, and experience:
- Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is advantageous
- CPA certification
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in State and Local Tax is preferred
- Ability to identify and propose solutions to complex income tax challenges
- Demonstrated advanced project management capabilities
- Proficiency in utilizing firm technology to enhance client service
- Exceptional research abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus

This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and considers various factors in compensation decisions, including skill set, education, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate for this position is $140,000 to $180,000.
