Job Overview:
Wye Electric is seeking a reliable, driven, and skilled Electrician at the Foreman level to oversee operations at our job sites. This position requires commercial experience and the ability to lead a team of three or more electricians.
Key Requirements:
- Current OSHA 30 certification and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Personal tools and dependable transportation are necessary.
- Successful completion of a drug test and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations among all team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for employees.
- Provide constructive feedback to management.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all equipment.
- Manage inventory levels and initiate reorders as necessary.
- Create and manage employee schedules.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, such as Shop Foreman, is preferred.
- Foreman training or certification is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of work optimization techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and crisis management abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations.
