Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective preparation, distribution, and control of medications for our patients.

This is a part-time evening shift position, working 3 pm to 11:30 pm. You will be responsible for participating in departmental programs, preparing and distributing medications, and ensuring medication safety for our cardiac and medical/surgical patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute sterile and non-sterile oral and injectable medications, including specialty medications.
  • Participate in departmental programs to ensure medication safety and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to rotate shifts, alternate weekends, and rotate throughout any areas requiring Pharmacy Technician.
