Job Description

MediaTek's ISD Compute and Software Architecture Technology teams are revolutionizing the cutting-edge Multimedia, AR/VR/XR, Computer Vision, and Generative AI Technologies. We are working closely with global Partners/Tier-1s to bring next-generation Computing AI leading products to market.

We are looking for experienced hands-on engineering leads to drive the Compute and Technology SW development. These roles involve understanding OEMs/Tier1s, supporting HW/SW product power and performance optimizations/benchmarking across a mix of High Level OS's, developing various platform SW features, and technically contributing to MediaTek's most next-generation compute products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with internal teams at both the architecture, code development, and BSP integration levels to ensure full BSP development completion in accordance with OEM requirements.
  • Collaborate with external teams and their OEM support members teams to ensure successful development and product launch.
  • Work with external teams such as OEM/ODM's directly as needed on specific issue triage or platform configurations, tuning, etc.
Requirements
  • Core Boot/BIOS and distributed uP development and JTag debugging, MADT, ACPI, IORT
  • UEFI expertise, WMI, SecureMor, ACPI, Capsule update
  • Trust zone/TPM/Pluton knowledge
  • VBS(Microsoft Hypervisor) on ARM, SMMUV3, GIC V4
  • Windows Power Management, Windows HW Drips, HOBL, Sleep Study, HLK
  • Windows development ecosystem, Development distributions (eWDK), Dev Center signing
  • Experience bringing ARM Compute products to market for OEM's/ODM's
  • Experience and credibility/relationships working with OEM's/ODM's and OS Provider teams
What We Offer

Salary range: $180,000 - $250,000

Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long-term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
