Job Summary

As a skilled Critical Care Nurse in our Catheterization Laboratory, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process and primary nursing principles. Your expertise in critical care nursing will enable you to make informed decisions and provide individualized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient care through the nursing process, ensuring accurate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, medications, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, BSN)
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
