Daily Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times when interacting with clients and the public.
  • Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and DOT regulations.
  • Skillfully navigate vehicles to remote locations using GPS, maps, or verbal directions.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality, including collaboration with the team to maintain all vehicles.
  • Utilize mobile devices to log daily chemical usage.
  • Oversee chemical inventory and confirm appropriate quantities for scheduled tasks.
  • Facilitate the digital transfer of application files to pilots.
  • Strategically plan and ensure access for vehicles to remote application sites.
  • Organize bulk water procurement from local municipalities.

Maintain accurate records of mileage, logs, and chemical usage.


  • Prepare vehicles thoroughly before trips, including loading necessary supplies to minimize downtime.
  • Measure and mix chemicals for aircraft loading using pumps and hoses.
  • Refuel aircraft using onboard systems.
  • Engage in physical tasks such as handling hoses, transporting chemical containers, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • CDL Class A (preferred) or B.
  • Performance evaluations will be conducted to assess skill levels.

  • Current or willingness to obtain tanker, air-brake, and hazmat endorsements.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings, as well as a background check (training and costs covered by the company).
  • Previous experience in spray application or mixing is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external personnel.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice for extended periods.
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work during peak seasons, including overnight travel.
  • Performance evaluations will be conducted to assess skill levels.

  • This role includes a probationary period of three months.

Travel Expectations:
This position necessitates occasional extensive travel primarily along the east coast and sometimes beyond.

Employees will be assigned to specific projects based on company needs, driver experience, and qualifications.

Traveling with a small crew, including pilots and ground support personnel, is standard.

Due to the nature of the industry, travel may be required on short notice and can last up to three weeks.

Work hours are variable and depend on weather conditions, with typical days starting before dawn and potentially extending until dusk.

Employees are guaranteed a minimum of eight hours for overnight assignments, excluding travel days.

When not on assignment, employees will report to the local facility for regular maintenance and repair duties.
