Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare examination rooms to ensure they are ready for patient procedures.
2. Administer radiopharmaceuticals to capture clear and usable diagnostic images.
3. Position patients and equipment appropriately, while explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
4. Input commands and data into the computer system to document scan sequences, while monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast as needed.
5. Monitor patients throughout examinations to ensure their safety and adhere to protocols that minimize radiation exposure.
6. Produce diagnostic images and communicate critical information to the Physician, while updating patient records accordingly.
7. Organize daily procedure schedules to accommodate emergencies and oversee radiographic supplies.
8. Handle administrative duties, including addressing technical inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing pre-procedure guidance.
9. Conduct scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
