Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and/or overseeing physical therapy in the following areas: referral, consultation, and clinical supervision.
  • Directly supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Tech in skilled tasks during group and individual treatment.
  • Enhance clinical expertise, professional, and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other professional staff.
  • Maintain valid state license and awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the healthcare environment.
  • Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocol within a facility.
  • Conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic Internet navigation skills.
  • Valid physical therapist state license (where applicable).
  • SNF experience required.
