Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, fault-tolerant data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and ETL Informatica.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and develop functionality, bug fixes, and performance improvements in ETL that moves data between Snowflake data layers.
  • Diagnose and resolve database and query tuning issues leveraging ELT and push-down if required.
  • Use and improve ETL frameworks, continuous data quality frameworks, and other automation in data pipelines.
  • Ensure data availability SLOs and participate in triage meetings to engage with Security, Infrastructure, and Workload management teams to resolve issues.
  • Comply with Agile Jira SDLC controls, Service Now Change & Incident management, and Data Ops Gitlab CI/CD pipeline.
  • Participate in daily standups, lead design reviews, and offshore coordination.
Requirements:
  • Experience developing, deploying, and supporting high-quality, fault-tolerant data pipelines leveraging distributed, data movement technologies, and approaches.
  • Experience utilizing Linux scripting (Python, Shell, etc.) and SQL development.
  • Experience with cloud-based data offerings (Amazon AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, Google GCP, Microsoft Azure) and ETL Tools (Informatica, DataStage, Data Build Tool, etc.).
  • Experience in P&C Insurance Domain.
