Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Component Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced technical tasks, including repair and overhaul of aircraft components, using advanced skills, procedures, and techniques.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional and operational tests of aircraft components.
  • Inspect detail parts to ensure conformity requirements are met.
  • Remove skins and related components on flight controls and secondary structure components.
  • Maintain and utilize all required paperwork in accordance with FAA Repair Station requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  • 6 years of experience in sheetmetal and/or hydraulic overhaul, avionics/electronic component repair, or related experience.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced repair environment with a high degree of independence. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
