About the Role:
OakBend Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our Physical Therapy department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in supervised patient treatments, ensuring a safe and effective treatment environment.
- Maintain the Physical Therapy department in a clean and orderly manner, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Support the Physical Therapy team in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in department-specific and hospital-required training courses to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
- Graduation from a technical program preferred.
- Previous experience in a Physical Therapy clinic preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
