Electrical Apprentice Job Description

Are you looking to launch your career in the electrical trade? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice to join our team at Interstate Construction. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills needed to become a licensed electrician.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced electricians in installing electrical systems and components
  • Measure, cut, and bend conduit using tape measures and power tools
  • Operate power tools such as drills, saws, and pullers
  • Load, transport, and unload materials and equipment
  • Perform minor repairs and disassemble defective electrical equipment
  • Use ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts to access work areas
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical trade preferred
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
