Maintenance Director Job Description

Frontier Management (OR) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
  • Direct the community maintenance team and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
  • Conduct regular inspections of life safety systems, including fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure that the outside of the property is well-maintained, including landscaping, snow removal, and garbage/trash removal.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a long-term care facility.
  • Valid State Driver's License required for vehicle travel.
  • Flexibility with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
