About the Role

Coffman Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients, including power, lighting, and load calculations. You will work closely with our multi-discipline design team to ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, retail, institutional, and industrial projects
  • Perform power system studies and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consulting teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Participate in project meetings and provide engineering support throughout the design and construction phases
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit
  • Experience with multi-family, commercial, institutional, and higher education projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • California registered Electrical Engineer
  • Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team
  • Experience in Low Voltage, security, and AV systems design
  • OSHPD/HCAI/healthcare experience
  • PV/BESS experience
