Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Tech Coordinator to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the tasks of Women's Diagnostic Imaging, including Ultrasound, Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, and Breast MRI.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of recent relevant experience and a strong background in radiology. They will be responsible for scheduling exams and procedures, preparing exams for physicians, maintaining the Mammogram Reporting System, and compiling statistics for the Annual Medical Audit.

The Mammography Tech Coordinator will also direct the staff in their work assignments, troubleshoot equipment problems, and act as a resource for technical or clinical information. They will provide training to other staff on equipment operation and new procedures/protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling exams and procedures
  • Preparing exams for physicians
  • Maintaining the Mammogram Reporting System
  • Compiling statistics for the Annual Medical Audit
  • Directing staff in their work assignments
  • Troubleshooting equipment problems
  • Providing training to other staff

Requirements:

  • 3 years of recent relevant experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • ARRT - American Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of recent relevant experience
  • Stereotactic Biopsies Wire Locs
  • ARRT (M) - American Registered Radiologic Technologist Mammo
