Job Description
Vision2Voice, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Program Director to join our Client Services team in Chicago, IL. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing day-to-day tasks associated with the completion and delivery of multiple client projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in program/project management specific to medical communications within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.

About the Role
The Program Director collaborates with account leaders in providing clients with the highest quality medical communications services. Responsibilities Include:
  1. Reviews and evaluates all project-related deliverables and processes (e.g., editorial, logistics, art, production) at key stages during development to ensure that objectives are achieved and quality control is maintained.
  2. Responsible for maintenance and renewal of ongoing assigned business.
  3. Leads cross-functional teams in the on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy delivery of promotional medical education projects and programs, such as slide kits, broadcasts, web & audio conferences, advisory boards, speaker training meetings, videos, etc.
  4. Develops project proposals and budgets for assigned clients. Presents proposals as needed.
  5. Manages processes and employs financial controls to achieve financial targets. Oversees budget development, implementation/monitoring, and final program reconciliation.
  6. Serve as the principal overall account expert for team. Ensures understanding of and compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures among team members.
  7. Establishes, maintains, and supports strong client and KOL relationships through understanding of client's business and strategy.
  8. Responsible with EVP for development of account strategies and plans.
  9. Supervises assigned staff and conducts performance planning and appraisals.

Requirements
Candidate must have a BA or BS degree or greater. A minimum of 5+ years' management experience with a pharmaceutical company, or project/account management experience in a health care marketing or pharmaceutical medical communications agency environment. Experience in multiple therapeutic disease categories. Client services experience, including listening, written, and verbal communications skills. The ability to identify issues and implement process improvements. A working knowledge of budget and proposal development. Strong leadership and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and able to quickly learn database software applications.
