Respiratory Therapist

This Respiratory Therapist position is responsible for providing evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. The successful candidate will assess patient needs, develop a plan of care, and implement treatment plans while monitoring patient condition and communicating with healthcare teams.

• Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis and medical history.
• Implement and monitor advanced respiratory care modalities, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatments, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Respond to emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest or respiratory distress, with prompt and effective action.

• A minimum of 2 years of cumulative experience as a Respiratory Therapist or equivalent degree (Associate's or Technical).
• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 1 month of hire date.
• Active registration with the Florida Board of Respiratory Care prior to hire date.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000-$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
