Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mover/General Laborer to join our team as a Disaster Response Specialist. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for responding to emergency losses, performing pack-outs and pack-ins, and assisting with the cleanup and repair of damaged properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disaster Response: Respond to emergency losses, including water, fire, and storm-related damage, to provide timely and effective restoration services.
  • Pack-Outs and Pack-Ins: Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer's contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration.
  • Cleanup and Repair: Assist with the cleanup and repair of damaged properties, including demolition, water extraction, and structural drying.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other equipment at the work site, ensuring proper setup and removal.
  • Documentation: Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation, utilizing MICA and other proprietary software.
  • Customer Service: Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
  • Transportation: Drive company vehicles, including water trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience with pack-outs and in's in the moving industry.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to perform demolition work, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs.
