Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and maintaining ambulance equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care according to company protocols and medical director guidelines.
  • Ensure ambulance and equipment are clean and in proper working condition.
  • Complete patient care reports, billing, and other necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Represent AmeriPro EMS LLC in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • State-specific EMT certification or licensure in good standing.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
Working Environment

As an EMT, you will work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency calls and providing patient care. You will be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to lift and move patients, and work in inclement weather conditions.
